Gary Pallister sends strange warning to Marcus Rashford after transfer linked

Gary Pallister has been discussing the futures of two Manchester United stars amid ongoing transfer links.

Marcus Rashford has been cautioned by Gary Pallister, a former star player for Manchester United, that “the grass isn’t always greener” in the wake of transfer rᴜmors linking the forward with a move away from the club.

Rashford has been on fire this year, scoring 25 goals for United in just 40 matches across all competitions. He has become the team’s leading scorer. During the previous year, when he was singled out for criticism in the midst of the Red Devils’ lackluster performance under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick, the England international has made significant strides forward.

United will be overjoyed to see Rashford return to form, but the fαct that he is doing so simply adds pressure to the precarious contract situation that the 25-year-old is in. Given that Rashford’s current deal is only valid until 2024, it is possible that the Red Devils may be in a precarious position this summer if they are unable to reach an agreement with the player over a new term.

In the interim, PSG has been mentioned in connection with a move, but Pallister believes that Rashford should exercise caution with regard to a prospective move to the capital of France.

According to what he said to betting sites, Rashford has put himself in a position where a number of European clubs are interested in signing him. “He’s sorted his life out away from football because perhaps there was too much going on which polluted the water. He’s sorted it out now.” I wouldn’t argᴜe that he owes it to the club to sign, but I think it’s safe to sαy that every Manchester United fan hopes that he does. My instinct tells me that he will sign, but if he is considering something else, I would caution him to be careful because the grass isn’t always greener in other places.

“It’s a challenging circumstance. It’s terrible when people are shooting you down, because Harry played well for England in the World Cup and the Euros,” Pallister added. “Harry did well for England.” “At the time, I was going through it, and it made me feel extremely alone. The year has been challenging, but I’m not sure how he feels about the fαct that he wasn’t engaged in any of the major games. After watching his team just give up seven goals, he could be feeling like he’ll get a chance on Thursday, but either way, he has a significant decision to make this summer on whether or not he will remain with the team.

Manchester United keeping a keen eye on 20-year-old La Liga playmaker

According to El Desmarque (h/t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Spain U21 international Gabri Veiga, who presently plays for La Liga club Celta Vigo. Veiga is a player for Celta Vigo.

The 20-year-old is being “monitored” by the Red Devils at this time. There is renewed speculation that he could join the Old Trafford club because of their interest in the offҽnsive midfielder.

The Manchester-based team isn’t the only one interested in the young player. European powerhouses Real Madrid and Premier League rivals Newcastle United are also keeping tabs on him.

Veiga was able to graduate from the Os Celestes’ military academy. The playmaker had been a part of the Stadium de Balados side in a limited capacity throughout the course of the previous two seasons. In spite of this, he was promoted to the first team for the current season.

This season, the player, who is only 20 years old, has been absolutely essential to Carlos Carvalhal’s squad. He has a total of 23 appearances in the league under his belt, during which time he has scored eight goals and provided three assists.

Bruno Fernandes is currently playing the position of number 10 for United at the moment. Since the international player from Portugal signed with the team in January of 2020, he has been a permanent fixture in the starting lineup.

During this election season, it would appear that Fernandes has found his footing working under Erik ten Hag. In the most recent few weeks, the Dutch head coach has also utilized Jadon Sancho in the playmaking capacity on a few different instances.

Recently, though, the Portuguese have given the impression of being overworked. It is clear that the squad does not have a suitable replacement for the 28-year-old player. Veiga is still young and with a great deal of untapped potential. A player of the caliber and skill of the 20-year-old with all the necessary qualities to be an understudy for the guy who formerly played for Sporting CP in Manchester.
