He then worked in various managerial roles across four Nigerian northern states: Kano, Kaduna, Jigawa, and Katsina. In 2004, he ventured into the oil and gas industry, serving as the head of the Marketing team at Oando Gas and Power.
During his tenure, he oversaw the construction and extension of the Greater Lagos Industrial Area Natural Gas Pipeline Network. Kunle also gained experience working at Shell Petroleum as a Fuels and Bitumen Manager.
