The family experienced a period of poverty, enduring seven consecutive months surviving on garri, a staple food made from cassava. To support herself and her family, Kaffy took to the farm, harvesting vegetables to sell and make money.

Kaffy’s life took a significant turn when she joined an aerobics class at the National Stadium to lose weight. Her dedication and punctuality caught the attention of her aerobics teacher, who appointed her to lead the class in her absence. Combining her love for dance with aerobics, Kaffy’s energetic and dynamic style won over the class, earning her a promotion to train athletes.

During one of her dance rehearsals and workouts at the National Stadium, a promoter approached her for a modeling job that involved choreography.

Though initially hesitant, Kaffy agreed and even requested to perform a solo routine. Little did she know that her performance would captivate the audience, including several renowned artists. This marked the beginning of her illustrious career in dance.

Kaffy’s career skyrocketed when she graced the stage at an event she was invited to during her training sessions at the National Stadium. In 2006, she led her dance group in breaking the Guinness World Record for the “Longest Dance Party,” lasting an incredible 55 hours and 40 minutes.

Currently, Kaffy is not only a dance instructor but also a visionary who has developed innovative teaching methods that incorporate visualization to accelerate the learning process for dance and dance fitness. In 2017, she launched “The Dance Workshop,” a dance convention aimed at training and mentoring professional dancers while promoting cultural exchange within the Nigerian dance industry. Personal Life and Divorce:

Kaffy was previously married to Joseph Ameh, the music director and drummer for Nigerian twin artists, P-Square. Their marriage lasted from July 2015 to January 2022 before they divorced due to issues of infidelity. Kaffy has two children from her marriage. She revealed that she began her healing process by abstaining from intimacy with her husband for three years before ultimately deciding to end their marriage.
