In addition to his acting and directing endeavors, Effiong has been recognized for his work in the film industry. He was featured in Bland2Glam’s #thePowerof7 campaign in 2019 to celebrate the fashion brand’s seven years in the industry. He also received a nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy (Movie/TV Series) at the 7th AMVC awards in 2020 for his role in the comedy film “Plan.”
